Wanted some breakfast this morning, so we stopped at this place because it was the closest to where we were and had menudo. Menudo was good, with a side of jalapeños was able to make it spicier. They have some egg plates as well, if tripe is not your thing. Prices were reasonable and service on top of things. It was not too busy, and there is a small lot to park in the back.
I have been coming here for a little Over 2 years... great service, food and prices. This place is your typical go to Mexican spot. With actual authentic tortillas and meats, like carne en su jugo or arrachera. Love their home made salsa that is complementary with chips. It's more of a chipotle salsa versus green or red for example. Great horchata as well. The tampiqueña platter is the best for a taste of meat, enchilada, rice/beans! Cocktail shrimp is very yummy, green enchiladas SUPER spicy but I love it, and tacos are all worth a try!
